There is no flat rate, because a custom gate is priced on span, material, design complexity, and whether it is automated. A simple single-swing gate without an operator sits at the accessible end. Should I get a sliding gate or a swing gate?
Swing gates need room for the leaf to arc open and reasonably level ground at the pivot, and they generally cost less to install. Sliding gates are the answer when the driveway is short, the grade rises sharply from the road, or an opening leaf would swing into traffic.
